I did find this book hard to put down, the story is great. I found the prose itself not very flowing. Don't know if Larsson actually wrote that way, or if this was because of the translation.
I found the movie of this book (the 2009 movie, starring Noomi Rapace, not the 2011 version which I haven't seen) to be a pretty well done adaptation. But of course not as good as the book.
