This was a well done fantasy debut! I heard great things and was not disapointed. The writing was stellar and reminded me alot of Sarah J Mass. The characters still have me thinking about them and what will happen in book 2. Lou was hilarious and her little song stuck in my head for a good 2 days. Reid was too good in my opinion and didnt do much for me. I like the dark rough monster boys more than the goody goody types and he was definitly that. The side characters I adored esp all the witches and Reids mother! Yes! What you find out in the end was aweome and Reid better have some growth in book 2 because of it. The plot was pretty good. I havent read a witch book thats anything like this one so it was very interesting to see some cool new dynamics between characters and storyline. A great fantastical witchy romp!
