I should start by saying that I only read this book because I wanted to get to the second one. I read the burp about John’s book and I wanted to read it. That’s about it.

That being said. I enjoyed this read. Boy oh boy I can’t even imagine the emotional minefields in something like this. My imagination painted vivid colors on the heartache surrounding this poor girl.

I LOVED Eric. He was just an all round nice guy but not overly so? He most certainly had much more gumption with this situation than I might have had. Even knowing the history behind it all.
I enjoyed the book. I enjoyed the journey.

I think the thing with the parents was totally unnecessary. Just my humble opinion.

And well. That’s about it.
