really liked it

I remember fondly of the sequel of this book,One Year Home. It was so beautiful. I finally get my hand on Five Years Gone. I have to say, it is as almost as beautiful as One Year Gone.

Miss Force wrote such powerful story. I was heart broken and in despair when Ava had to stay limbo for 5 years not knowing what happened to her John. She is at the end of her rope when Eric comes down and barrelling down on her life. And this is their story.

At the first 40%, I can feel the agony and the loneliness that consumes Ava. After she met Eric, she was on the path of recovery when a shocking news rocked her world. Again she is fumbling.

This is wonderful wonderful story about grief and hope. Love and forgiveness. There is so much depth in the story and the characters. So much plot and twist that makes the story alive.

What I do not like is Ava herself. Her self pity sometimes just so annoying and frustrating. There is really time when I want to bitch slap her.

Overall this is still wonderful read.
