Autumn is near, and Bear falls sick. His amazing group of friends helps to take care of him. They try to nurse him back to health by covering him up with a blanket and bringing him tea. With all of his friends' help, Bear gets better! Unfortunately, now, all his friends are sick, but not to worry! Bear will take care of them!

I really love this series of Bear books. I love the lessons that it teaches children. It promotes a caring, respectful, and loving environment. I have also read Bear's Loose Tooth. In both books, Jane Chapman does an amazing job on the illustrations. So much detail, shading, and warmth- it adds a lot to the story. I also made a text-to-text connection while reading. This reminds me of a Caldecott Award-winning book name A Sick Day for Mcgee. It follows the same theme of the main character being sick and how his friend care for him. Definitely would check it out!
