Just a truly wonderful adaptation of a truly wonderful serial. This even manages to wring MORE tension from the whole plot because it is fleshed out with prose and giving us the whole perspective of everyone instead of just following them.

Really happy this one is as good as it was.

But I am excited to read this one. I’ve never before and EoD is one of my favorite First Doctor serials. Should be a blast! (I hope. I would hate for my hot streak to end on a book adapting a serial I really love)"
