Something More totally BLEW MY MIND! Man have I never ever read a book where the male character was one I wished I could jump in the book and kick his tush. Then to make matters worse a few chapters in I was cheering for him. Dam that author she is a master of all things wonderful! She knows how to take a book and bait you just enough that you keep reading and then you are HOOKED like a fish caught on a line!

Something More is a story about a girl Nyla who has just graduated from high school. She has decided she wants to get away from her small town and start a new life where she can be herself and do what she wants to do without anyone making her feel uncomfortable. She decides she is going to go to college in Chicago and rent an apartment and get a job. When she gets to Chicago it is like a breathe of fresh air away from all the pain and hurt she felt at home. She gets a job at an awesome art gallery and she loves her classes. As she is getting into the grove for her first few classes she meets Ethan and they hit it off. She realizes that she has never had a boyfriend before because of her sisters best friends brother Jamison.

See Jamison and Nyla were always thrown together because they were the same age and their sisters were best friends. But Jamison is a douche in high school and treats Nyla like crap. Every time they are forced to do things together they rebel. So when Nyla has a chance to start all over again she does. Then she is totally blindsided by Jamison when he shows up at her favorite coffee shop. She hears his name being called and then hears his voice and all the old insecurities come back. She is pissed because he was supposed to be going to another college and he ended up at the college she was going to. Then to make matters worse he ends up in half her classes and she hates him with everything she has.

Jamison knows he did Nyla wrong and he wants to make it up to her. He is maturing and he realized that he may just like Nyla a little more than he thought. He can't stop thinking about her and when he finds out she is dating his roommate he is not happy. But Jamison has no rights to her and he has no reason to be mad because he treated her like crap and she never did anything to him. What is a guy to do to prove to the girl he loves that he is genuine? Will she give Jamison a chance? Will she walk away from him? Mia has done an EPIC job with this Novella and I need more! I need another Novella with a certain Ethan in it to sate my curiosity about him. Read this because it is a must read!
