It's been on my "to read" list for years, and I'm finally getting to it.
****Gets five stars, but more like 4 3/4. REALLY enjoyed this book up through about the last twenty pages or so. I saw the last twist coming, but I'm still not sure why Alison felt she could act as she did...surely what Nicholas did to her wasn't nearly as bad as what she did to him, right? That quibble aside, this was a phenomenal book - fabulous atmosphere, plot twists galore, everything I love. I can't wait to get hold of The Collector
