I really enjoyed Emily Henry's latest book. This was a romance set in Maine that centers around Harriet, an indecisive surgeon who has recently broken up with her fiance- and hasn't told her friends right before their annual week long vacation together. I really enjoyed this book, despite it being very similar to most Emily Henry books. It resonated pretty deeply with me, especially a lot of the family ties mentioned. This book centers around found family, but also reconnecting with yours. I liked each of the 3 couples and how they were all distinct from each other. I liked Harriet's troubles, and how her and Wyn's relationship developed. I was even looking forward to the flashbacks. I think this is a good, comfortable book that isn't groundbreaking but was fun to read.
contains tropes: fake-dating, one bed, opposites attract, forced proximity
