it was amazing
bookshelves: short-stories, science-fiction

Not only an excellent compilation of the best and most important voices in Science Fiction at the time of its original publication (late 60s), "Dangerous Visions" is an essential must-read for any fan of thought-provoking SF. Some of the stories are quite silly and amateurish (Editor Harlan Ellison published many first-time young authors alongside legends like Larry Niven and Ray Bradbury), while some are deeply philosophical and intellectually stimulating extrapolations of scientific ethics, but every story within this vast tome is, at the very least, entertaining.
