Eek! I just finished it and read it as a tongue-in-cheek snarky commentary. She was definitely meant to be insufferable!

I agree with JanB and you’re SO obviously wrong on this one! Lol, jk. Sorry you didn’t enjoy. :( I was actually expecting not to like it, since it’s gotten so much hype. But as Jan said, the snarkiness and insufferable MC actually made this kinda fun for me. I do think had it been any longer and not such a quick read, I likely would have rated it less (still have to do my review, but I’m most likely giving it 4 stars).

Thanks, Megan! 💖 I am so glad you had fun with this one. I don't know why I wasn't able to tolerate the narrator as I usually enjoy awful yet interesting characters. This time around she grated on my every nerve and I just couldn't continue. As far as Babel goes I have never read it as I don't read any fantasy. It's just not my genre.
