Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End

This book has been raved upon among the healthcare community because it attempts to explore alternative imaginations of a dignified end-of-life care. I wished the editing could have been better as this book is too dry. The author's way of bringing across his point is long-winded and loses the attention of readers in the meantime. His ideas reflect his position of privilege as he does not consider sociocultural factors or interrogates policies. A missed opportunity to better engage this important topic!
