What is a person to think about a novel that showcases raining mice, mice-gobbling goblins, and a young heroine requiring both physical and philosophical reconstitution? It must be YA fantasy, no? Yes and no. HALF-WITCH will delight young readers with its playful, visually striking and fantastic characters, but it will also push adult readers into analyzing their belief systems at a more basic level. An insightful, highly entertaining read. Wonderful.
