i hoped to be enchanted by this but unfortunately i was rather bored the entire time i was reading it. the story somehow managed to be all over the place and nonexistent at the same time?! like how?! so little happens but it's described with so many words, many of which are purple prose which i am decidedly not a fan of, i got lost in my own thoughts while reading which has never happened to me before bc reading is actually my way to focus my brain for once :D

the characters and plot seemed very under developed and the world building was lacking as well even though i thought the premise could have actually made for an exciting magical goose chase.
