what a ride 😅 wow ok where do i start?! this book had the PERFECT balance of romance and plot, it contained so many of my favourite tropes and all of them were executed EXQUISITELY!!!! the spice was SO GOOD and again for me had that perfect balance of not being so overdone that we lose interest.

ok let’s talk about our two main characters; i am a sucker for a shadow daddy and let me tell you, kingfisher could possibly be my new favourite book boyfriend ever. he’s dark, moody, tortured and let’s not forget to mention the mouth on him, are you kidding me?! 😮‍💨😫👀🥵 i love that our fmc saeris was strong, bold and intelligent, often in romantasy i feel like the fmc can be written in a way to make her come across weak or stupid 😐 this was not the case here and i am so happy for it!

i will be thinking about this book for a long time 🥹
