I have no words. This story completely broke my heart, and learning details about the siege of Leningrad is so important but heartbreaking to read about. I appreciate this story for all that it speaks about, my only issue is with the actual formatting of the book. I realize this is a bit picky, but I wish we really focused on the mother's important story and less about her children (who felt surface level to me). Either way it still had me sobbing through the last 100 pages of the book!
