Same here. The ending made me tear up but honestly it couldn’t have ended any other way.
The romance in this book is EVERYTHING 💗

Made me cry my eyes out- such a beautiful ending
While a real commitment given the size of the book, I appreciated every page. Skilled storyteller in the best sense of the word. We continue to wonder the what ifs of historical events. King brings us right to emotion of the moment. Loved this book and would highly recommend.
