I really liked the story and the characters in it. BUT I too cringed at the "daddy" & little girl" endearments. They are always creepy, and NEVER sexy. They are unnecessary because the relationship between Hans and Cassandra is hot, complex and transgressive enough with out piled on weirdness.

Ngl, was very put off by that but decided I'm gonna pretend that they're calling each other something else

Yeah, after that I just rushed through the book. It was such a turn off! Also the sex scenes were kinda lame, and the idea of of all these badass mafia guys baking cookies as a gift for a wedding, didn’t make sense to me. The start of this book was fire! Hans was my favorite until the “Daddy” thing.

Idk it seemed weird that he is fighting to end sex trafficking of young girls but then calls her little girl. It’s off putting and kinda creepy. I loved the other 3 books in the series and finished them all in a day each and want to finish this book. And was so excited but it’s just weirding me out which sucks😕
