4.25!! the beginning was good, the middle was looooooong, the almost end was a 5 & the end was a 6 that i would legit have me selling my right arm to get the second book asap… do with that what u will :’)

Madison, your reaction really captures the emotional ride this book took you on, and it makes total sense that a story with such intense world-building and a high-stakes romance would hit differently on each read. I can feel how strongly the ending landed for you, going from a solid beginning to a slow middle and then skyrocketing into a “sell-your-right-arm” level finale says a lot about how powerful those last chapters were (Wow…!). It’s also relatable that the reread changed the experience while you still chose to honor your first impression; that honesty adds weight to your assessment. With a 4.34 average rating and that kind of payoff, your enthusiasm is contagious, and now I want to read it ASAP too 📚✨🔥.
