did not like it

Western readers do not see anything wrong with the fact that russians in this book took the centre stage and are presented as «doves of peace», a model of high culture, instead they say: “But they do not support war in this book, they are peaceful and intelligent, they just like “Korovka”, eat “zalupyanka” and love their mother-russia etc”. This is bad. As President Kuchma said in a famous Ukrainian meme: “This has already happened before”.
This is the so-called soft propaganda, which is intentionally or accidentally aimed at presenting russians in a good light. But in reality, we, Ukrainians, know this fact better than others: the only thing that distinguishes russia from north korea (say “unquestionably total evil”) is the presence of ballet, Tolstoy and Dostoevsky. The other difference is that north korea is currently not waging full-scale exhausting war against its neighbouring state 3 years straight.

Some may write that this does not apply to this book, that the book is not about this at all. It’s your choice, do as you please.

Apart from the written above, this is just another example of a bad book with no plot or characters development. The set of geographical names describing the Earth from space, amidst which short and weak stories make their way through and end with nothing.

P.S. I am writing this review during another attack by the Russian "Shaheds 136". But no worry, these are peaceful ones, instead of explosives they are carrying “Korovka”, just as good russians in this book :-)

Constructive discussion is welcome.
