I finally finished this book!!! Okay honest review incoming. I thought I was going to love this book a lot more then I did. The concept is about a guy going back in time to stop the assassination of JFK. Sounds awesome right? Too bad it doesn’t even get anywhere near any details of that event and stuff leading up to it until about 600 pages in. I am soo for details and ton of build up but why did I have to know every detail about how this man lived between 1958-1963. And then we get to the build up and then it just is like oops he doesn’t know anything and it’s two days before. Genuinely did not like a majority of this book. This had no reason to be this long and I feel like I wasted so much time reading this. It gets the rating it does because the concept is cool and there were parts of this book that I enjoyed (first 200 pages and the last 150 pages) so why was this book 800+ pages? And I’m not opposed to a long book. I’m opposed to a long book that is only made long by irrelevant fluff. Anyways. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.
