I heard Katherine Stewart give a lecture on this subject at Humanists UK's annual convention in June this year. I was so concerned at what she had to say, I felt I should find out more. I have now read the the early chapters of the book. It is very much about the US scene and it is very detailed and replete with the names of people and organisations that are involved in all this, none known to me. The author reports on what happens at the many meetings and events that they have organised. But for me, it is a worthwhile read. Her Humanists UK talk was very informative and covered the gathering influence and infiltration of these groups in this country. I have just poste this on my Facebook account:

Spouting pseudo-religion, pseudo-science, pseudo-morals, pseudo-patriotism … . Stoking division and civil unrest. Alien to our British values of moderation, tolerance, compromise, fairness, stoicism and concern for the underdog. . Do we really want this to take root here?'
