4.25 ⭐️Y’all, lmao…this book finished me. It scared the absolute shit out of me. I’m talking had to put on a holiday movie and sleep with the hall light on kind of scared ✨I’m just a baby✨
What a wild freaking ride. The plot was intense, and I was confused about 50% of the time, but in the best way. It’s one of those books where you have no clue what’s going on until the pieces start to click together, and then you’re hit with that grand finale ending that leaves your jaw on the floor.
This was the perfect fall TBR pick, giving all the spooky season vibes. It definitely read more like a dark thriller with a dash of romance. For me, the romance wasn’t really the focus I honestly kept thinking, okay, let’s get back to the story, I need to know what the fuck is going on right now. 😂 But don’t worry, there are still some spicy moments between the professor and his student. 🤭
THAT ENDING THOUGH. Didn’t see that coming at all! I love when a book is twisty and turny. It really makes for a great exciting experience and it’s one of those books Im going to look back on and say what the fuck did I read?
I JUST finished this and I’m still processing, but I had to jump on here while it was fresh. This author is 100% a new favorite of mine. I read the Dracula duet and now this one, and I can’t wait to dive into all her other books!
