This is my first time reading the work of Cathy Glass, and wow, although I really enjoyed the book, it’s left me with so many uncomfortable feelings. Granted, I believe anyone who has read this book would feel the same way: sad, frustrated, confused, disturbed, uncomfortable, upset. It’s impossible for you not to feel connected to Jodie and Cathy.
The book covers incomprehensible and unfathomable topics - which makes the emotions so much raw knowing it’s based on a true story.
I do have another Cathy Glass book - but I feel like due to the heaviness and emotional effect of this storyline, I made need a break in between before I start it.
