What a haphazard and disjointed collection of words. The author is trying to say something, and the book is called a memoir, yet after reading it I don’t feel any insights into her life (except for chaos perhaps) or to the emotions surrounding the death of her father and sister. It’s very unclear what the author is frying to convey. In fact I don’t quite understand how the editor would let her publish this in its current form. If the book is to be seen as a work of modern art then I would describe it as an expression of confused emotions and complicated threads of personal chaos. It doesn’t entice me to read other works by this author despite the interesting topics which are said to be discussed.
