I agree…I saved it and read it today… I was gutted and utterly taken in by all of the characters… flawed and raw.
If you loved this book,as I did,you would enjoy 84 Charing Cross Road and The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street by Helene Hanff.Evans actually mentions the book in The Correspondent.Happy Reading.
I throughly enjoyed this book! Loved the technique of using letters to tell the main characters story.

Beautiful, balanced, incredible. How does a 39-year-old know, let alone capture so beautifully the musings of a woman nearly 40 years her senior? This was an incredible read for me.
Hated it. Sybil was self-indulged. No one needs to know all the useless ramblings she would write to people about.Wanted to like it though. 1 star from me.
