House of Hunger

House of Hunger is a sapphic Bluebeard retelling and I loved every minute of it. If I mark a book "easy to read" I consider that my highest available praise, because I know how hard it is to write an "easy to read" book! I turned these pages quickly and was fully immersed in the world that Mari lived in. It was dark, haunting, gothic, and oh-so-good.
