Loved this story

I really loved this story. When I was a young girl (I'm 78 now) we lived on a dairy farm with the Rock Island Railroad Line going through our property. We had
Hobos jump off the freight trains all the time. Some only stayed for a meal, some stayed for a day or two, and some would stay a week or two or longer. The different times were determined by what the hobos were willing to do. Some were just passing through, some only wanted to work a day or two, then some wanted to work longer. The meals and a place to stay was their pay. We were a very pour dairy farm, but my folks had a huge heart and wanted to do what they could. We had repeat guys. They always slept in the hay mow. It was told in the hobo community, if they wanted a good meal and/or a good nights sleep, the Gill Farm was the place to stop at.
