The Last Hero (Discworld, #27; Rincewind, #7)

This was the the last book on Terry Pratchett re-read binge.
While not as substantial as some of the rest of his books (I'm pretty sure the wordcount is less than half of his usual) this book makes up for it by being beautifully illustrated by Paul Kidby. I've never seen an artist do such spot-on interpretations of an author's characters. Kidby's work is really amazing.

Read Thief of Time. Any others that you'd highly recommend?

Night Watch is fantastic and fits in with the events at the end of Thief of Time. Other great ones around that era of Discworld are Monstrous Regiment and Going Postal.
I love this book! I really feel like Kidby's illustrations really suit Discworld... Beautiful but goofy at the same time... He's really good at bringing it to life.
