really liked it
bookshelves: ya, series, sci-fi, paranormal

More like 3.333 (repeating), but I really enjoy Jennifer L. Armentrout's writing which is why I rounded up to 4 stars.

Daemon....I don't like the guy. There. I said it. He's arrogant and controlling and annoying and just plain rude and not in a good way. Is there a good way of being those things? I don't think so.

I enjoyed Katy and Dee and the other side characters and the concept of the story over all, but I am just not a Daemon fan at all. Sure there were some hot scenes and a lot of sexual tension that was entertaining, but he doesn't float my boat. Uh uh, no way. [Although I will admit I enjoyed the majority of the banter between Daemon and Katy (what can I say, it's pretty good foreplay)].

I plan on finishing the series, because like I said I enjoyed the side characters and I enjoyed the writing. I'm hoping Daemon might redeem himself somewhat - if he learns to act like a decent guy and not an arrogant prick - but I doubt I will ever be head over heels for him.
