I am writing my first novel this month (well the draft). :) I love Jesus and I plan on weaving some biblical values into my book. It might be hard but I'm set on it. Also I am an artist and hope one day to sell my work. :D That's all!

I am attempting NaNoWriMo for the first time. I started my book on Nov 1 but due to work commitments and a new personal life, I only have 4884 words written. I hope, with a quiet holiday, I can increase that.

This is my first year for NANOWRIMO. I am making a slow start of it and I am thrilled to find this group. Good luck to everyone.

Hi! I know it's almost halfway through Nano, but I just discovered this group! This is my first Nano, and I am writing the sequel to my Steampunk Literary Tribute A Dodge, a Twist and a Tobacconist. I have 32830 words so far. The first book was just over 100,000, so I know 50,000 won't finish this, but I am encouraged so far. The tentative title is The Professor, the Puppet and the Poet.

Has anyone ever written an 80K book in two weeks? jw lol

My passion (besides books) is cooking--which may account for my being fat. However, as an adult I embraced both Kosher and Vegetarianism and as a result I have to cook for myself and my mom (with whom I live). By sheer genius my sister picked up a huge encyclopedia of vegetarian food and as a result I have lots of recipes at my fingertips. Tonight I am fixing a "Festive Jalousy"--although I'd never heard of it until I made my first. Well, I hope that's not too much.

Hey, I'm Rebecca. This is my first NaNoWriMo and my first time writing orignal fiction since high school. I hadn't really sat down and written anything in a few years so the start of November was a bit of a shock for me.

I'm writing a Fantasy novel, currently sitting pretty at around 33K, but my ultimate goal is for 80K (by the first week of December I think).

It's awesome to see a Goodreads group devoted to this!

Hi. My first year doing NaNo. So far I'm at 26699 word count. I'm writing urban fantasy. No werewolves (Shapeshifters which are completely different) or vampires. I'm having a lot of fun doing it and learning a bit about myself too.

I have a book bout vamps....but they arent your atypical ones XD more scary and animalistic....def not human.

Didn't quite make it last time despite plans etc. This year I have made no plans beyond a title and spend my writing time following my characters around which is actually very liberating. Bang on target with my word count too. I mean to make 2012 my I Finished Nano year.

As is this one, come to that, but my aunt's also been after me to write this one. Said project should be at 30K if I can get time to write tonight.
