56 books in, I'm right at 400K. I've been reading really slow so far this year and for some reason, keep getting stuck in England.
I started late (April) but I have racked up 103,014 miles, reading 17 books. I have a lot of buddy reads scheduled in my Fantasy group, so HF has been set aside for awhile...
I've done 34 books that are Historical Fiction and my total so far is 264,056 miles. I also seem to keep getting stuck in England!

So far I've ready 47 books, and traveled 650k miles. We, the Drowned helped significantly with milage as multiple people sail all over the world. It was a great book.
17 books and 144k miles so far. I've been on a SFF tear this year, to the detriment of this challenge. Whoops! Marlene was a big help, as she crisscrossed the globe.

Thanks for a fun challenge Gretchen! I never thought I would make it. This seemed daunting after reading the first few books and barely reaching 50,000. Thanks to a few books with MC who traveled greatly, the mileage mounted up.

Yeah, Diane!! I'm determined to make it to a million, but those pesky Printz books (almost all contemporary) keep getting in the way.
I made it one million miles! At one point I wasn't sure it was going to happen. Total Miles 1,031,802

Huzzah for Diane and Ruth Anne!I'll be happy if I make the halfway mark by the end of the year. I'm currently at 488,918, so it's doable, I just need to stay focused :D

I hit 505,310mi upon finishing my 30th HF book, The Mountains Sing, today! Thank you all, mods and members, for making this challenge a joy :)
Missed it by that much...Finished the last couple of books in progress to close out the challenge with 107 books for 980,638 miles.
