it was amazing
Love this book so much! The characters are so likable and beautifully written. I really appreciated the sensitivity around Joan’s diagnosis, and how well the spicy scenes were handled. The side plots and characters were great too. An all around lovely debut for this author. I felt really invested in these characters and didn’t want to put the book down. I hope it gets all the attention it deserves. Looking forward to reading the author’s future b

Very well-written, but I only really finished it because I am on vacation with spotty wifi, and it was the only book from Libby that I could get to properly load on my e-reader. It’s really NOT a beach read. I liked it overall, it was interesting for the most part, but very long, and there weren’t many happy moments. Really do not recommend this as a vacation read, or an uplifting read in general.
