it was amazing
What See does brilliantly in this book (seriously, it is a master class) is presents the various women's lives and experiences without editorializing, and I was FURIOUS almost the entire time at the injustices they all (no matter the class) faced.

This was my first See. I doubt it will be my last.

Also, I listened to the audiobook narrated by Jennifer Lim. Highly recommend (EXCEPT for the parts where she described foot binding and/or some other me

really liked it
Listen, I will always be here for a Breakfast Club homage. So this is basically the Breakfast Club but make it they're accused of murder.

I actually knew the end of this one before I read it, but convinced myself to forget the resolution for the most part. Still, it was a fun ride to see the characters grow (esp. Addy) and their relationships cement.
