it was amazing
It was a tough start. I had to force myself to keep reading. I even stopped for a few days, gave the book a poor rating, and then moved on.

But given the volume of high ratings, I picked it up again. I trusted the crowd.

The book got better. A lot better. Although it was still hard to get through in a couple of spots, those parts were after particularly engaging cliffhangers that gave me the willpower to get to the resolution. Luckily there were on

Wow. This book was so good. Islington is a great descriptor of setting and emotion. And a master storyteller. I did not see the end coming. Can’t wait for book two.
