South of the Potomac river from Washington D.C., Arlington blends the energy of a big city with the calm oases of suburban living. There’s no shortage of things to do; from impressive monuments like Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon to the many parks and scenic routes. There is excellent public transport but the best way to discover this pedestrian-friendly city is on foot or by bike.

The rental was great, very clean and just the right size for 2. There are many more stairs then mentioned in the listing though, many from the parking lot. Was plenty of visitor parking. The host responds in 24 hours or less which is great. The area was very quiet
