NGADM and UAC submission. i made this in three days to make it eligible for both, while also making it to my vacation which starts tomorrow. for that reason it might sound a bit rushed.

anyways, this might be very different from my discography, but this was a long time coming, im really tired of my old house schtick, i dont listen to that kind of music anymore and have no motivation to continue down that path. im trying to change the way i go about making music and try to make my discography represent my current tastes better if that makes sense. theres a very good chance this wont pass round one of adm but man am i happy with the fact that i can release a song like this without giving a shit.

this song doesn't mess around. I like it, it seems mixed well nothing sounds jarring like my mixes lol. i like the glitchy breakdowns, the singing, everything is hitting nicely. solid singing and changing up of the vocal effects. Great work, look forward to hearing more.

love the angsty hyperpop vibe of the main sections, great vox processing and pretty decent lyrics. would like the choruses to break up the structure a bit more - the current structure makes the song start to drag and feel repetitive in the 2nd half.

the instrument choices are mostly great but i think a deeper, stuttered bass sound would help the mix punch a bit harder and give a bit more space for the vocals. really impressed by this one overall!

I like the edgy synth guitars at the beginning and the crisp beats at :11. The vocals at :22 sound good, although a bit over-processed. The lyrics themselves are also really good - clever, but also relatable. The instrumental tracks could use a tad more variety at times, and the texture seems to be missing some upper-mid-range tones throughout. I like the “this is how it is now” bridge at 1:48, although I would’ve liked to hear another refrain or melodic section or something instead of going right into the outro from there - the way it is now felt a bit anticlimactic. Still, I really like the production quality, rhythmic content, progression, and passionate vocals here. Really glad you went out of your comfort zone with this one! Keep it up, Ackee39. ^_^

I def ageee with you that the main thing that needs to be fixed is clearer instrumentation, the song is too reliant on the vocals I think
