Digital Utopia is an album created to question escapism. In a time ruled by technology, how much of the future being promised to us is viable? Why is it easier to just live in our own internet dream bubbles? Why did the future advertised to us seem so much cooler in the 2000s ( XD )? In all, this album is just a silly way to ask those questions as well as pay tribute to Teh Interwebz, nostalgia, and the retro futurism aesthetics of the 90s and 2000s. From chill wii- like music and ambient jungle sounds to borderline nightcore and hyperpop tunes, I have put a lot of love into my silly utopia! This idea has been cooking for 2 years and I wanted to wait until I felt I could execute it to the best of my abilities! I hope you enjoy!

Years ago, the prophecy foretold of a digital utopia... now let's create one of your own...

Welcome to Digital Utopia! In order to participate in the following journey, it's recommended that you create your very own Utopia. What is a Utopia? I'm so glad you asked! Your Utopia is a special place in your mind. You can build it to be anything and anywhere you like, so long as it provides you safety from the outside world. Why do we need a Utopia? Well, everyone needs a Utopia! Now, let's get to creating yours.

Step One: Close your eyes...

Step Two: Imagine your favorite place in the entire universe. Alternatively, you can make this space from scratch. You can imagine whatever you want it to be... How is it looking? Where is your Utopia? How beautiful! How beautiful you've imagined your utopia to be! I am so very proud of you!

Now for Step Three: Decorate your Utopia! Add anything you'd like. Your own house, a bed, friends, pets... the possibilities are endless here in Utopia! I'll leave you to it for a little while.

How is it looking? Are you satisfied with your Utopia?

Now, for the last step: Stay there a while. Stay there forever if you wish. It gets scary out there. Please use your time in Utopia to decompress, relax, and to ignore everything around you. You are safest within yourself. Utopia knows and understands this.
