I completed my first DnD campaign last year, and you may recall that I made a theme for my character, Netero. This theme is for Gizelle, another player character.

Backstory

Born into a family of knights, Gizelle served the Drachingarde order with unwavering loyalty—until she uncovered their horrific secret: the creation of Reavers, living weapons stripped of free will. Disillusioned, she abandoned her legacy and joined the Order of Breaking Dawn, trading her sword for the life of a wandering healer. Yet the specter of the Reavers haunted her, driving her to seek a way to destroy the magic behind them once and for all.

Campaign Story

Gizelle's quest led her to a band of adventurers searching for an ancient elven artifact—one she believed could end the Reavers’ curse. But when their mission intertwined with a desperate orc’s plea for help, she faced a choice: stand aside or risk her life for strangers. She chose to fight, falling in battle while shielding the orc’s family. In her final moments, she was imparted with profound spiritual wisdom — becoming aware of the duality of life and death. She was later resurrected and emerged as a spiritsoother—having a communion with the dead and being able to call upon them for assistance. She became the key to stopping a greater evil than she had ever imagined.
