Shout out to @raphaelcarrard and @kittyhawkmontrose for helping out with this project. I started the game on Friday night, and it quickly took shape in under 4 days.
Thanks for asking me help out! Anytime! 💖
Thank you for helping me out
I got something up my sleeve that’s been six years in the making aimed for next Halloween.
Ancient aliens, alternate history, and cults.
Hell yeah. I love all those things.
Its called Antonia.
”The year is 1898. In a world where modern life conveniences like the television and the Internet were invented several hundred years earlier, Adam arrive’s on the island of Weredamn Habor located south of the UK after the recent passing of his Uncle Bill. His uncle had left him an inheritance that was buried somewhere on the island but Bill couldn’t have been bothered to mark the location on a map. Adam came looking for his uncle‘s fortune, instead he comes across mayhem and has to clean up a 300 year old aftermath involving ancient aliens, a failed cult ritual, and an entire lost civilization.”

I like to give credit to @raphaelcarrard for beta testing Rush 2
About 2015 was when I started, then the game just sat in limbo. Close to about 70% done. Its a physics based puzzle game.

In my experience the hard part is often fleshing out the design/content/game feel etc. If you have a working prototype, I would recreate it from scratch in a new engine/framework that'll allow you to get in front of a big audience.
It would also be a good opportunity to learn a new tool that you can use for future projects. I'd need to know more about what kind of game it is to recommend a specific option but this page has a good list of resources to check out https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources/game-dev-resources
Ok I'm in a pickle, I have one last Flash project yet to be released but Flash is now dead so it will only work in the Newgrounds Player because Ruffle doesn't support Action Script 3 yet. My game was built in Stencyl which now supports HTML 5 projects but those exports are very buggy even in public release 4.0.4 (Fall 2020). Flash exports work just fine, but like I said flash is dead. I don't want to release a Flash project in 2021 that only a few people will go out of the way to play it, but I don't want to release a broken HTML 5 version of the game either. What should i do?

What’s Pico Day?
Pico Day is an annual celebration of all the cool stuff on Newgrounds. It was originally organized in the forums and started with Pico Day 2006; we’ve since kept the tradition going.
There is one big change this year, which came up last year. It has become increasingly awkward to encourage people to make animation and games each year when characters like Pico and the Tank Men are so old. In more recent years we’ve tried to broaden the themes but overall these categories weren’t getting a lot of traction.
The art category has had a great turnout each year, however, so this year we are encouraging everyone to upload fan-art of their favorite characters and people here on NG!
To participate, upload your entry on May 11th and include the “picoday2019” tag.
There will be prizes for the best art!
1st - $200
2nd - $150
3rd - $100
4th - $100
5th - $100
If you’re looking for themes, try browsing areas like the Top-Rated Original Comedy for the year.
Games, animation and music are all still welcome despite not having prizes this year. It would still be a total treat to see something special!
Pico Day Party
Thanks to the efforts of @IvanAlmighty, the irl Pico Day party is making a return this year! It will be happening at a venue downtown and capacity is much more limited, so if you haven’t already accepted an invite, there aren’t any openings left this year. To be clear: We are at capacity and if you aren't on the list, the doorman can't let you in.
The invite list largely grew from the recent animation collabs so please don’t take it personal if you had been invited previous years and weren’t invited this year; hundreds of people are in that boat! Pico Day was getting bigger and crazier each year and it’s tough to know where to go with that other than an all-out NG Con.
Newgrounds Player
Our desktop Flash player is in really good shape and we’re confident you will be able to keep playing new and old Flash content, earning medals and logging high scores long after Flash is removed from browsers. We’re exploring some other ideas at the moment but the base system all works, which is a good feeling.
Devil May Cry Art Contest
Winners of the DMC Art Contest are coming up next!
Its ON

I wonder if someone would make a game developer just like the roblox studio but able to save as swf format? I mean their developing tool make's 3d game server's on roblox. but someone should take the roblox studio and make several changes to it so its a 3d game developing engine.

This game is on low budget (I am not paying).
We are looking for people who know how to use Stencyl.
We are taking about a mid size game, its going to be a 35MB size game.
Also we may or may not be moving the game to flash develop.
