in the interim
It's 2014. A girl takes the bus to her middle school. While lamenting her own struggles, she begins to hear the ones of the ones around her, too.
This is my thesis film made at SVA. Made from 2022-2023, I couldn't have been able to make this film without the support from my friends and family. For that I'll always be thankful.
The bus was, at many moments, a place of despair, but the in-between moments of calm and clarity will always be remembered. As well as the laughs. There are few spaces in our lives where a "third" self can exist, and can reflect on the other two selves.

This is actually amazing. Going to college for psychology and this is spot on.
I’m glad that I subscribed to you, you never disappoint. Your style is both bouncy and serene, and the stories, although one time pieces, feel beautiful and character driven, well written with relatability instead o trying to hard to be emotional.
