How do you add stiffness? —
I use starch, gelatin or PVA glue. I like to make snowflakes and houses stiff like cardboard. All methods are suitable, but the choice depends on the composition and color of the yarn. For white cotton ones, I like the thickest possible starch. But on bright colors it is visible. Therefore, for red it is better gelatin or glue. Attention ‼️
