WHO: SWAP AND CHAT works if you get involved. All types of libraries are invited to send
samples (50 copies) of their public relations materials, which will be set on tables for attendees
to view and take home. While at the conference be sure to visit, to swap and chat!
WHY: SWAP AND CHAT is a great opportunity to highlight your library and meet with your peers
to discuss promotional ideas.

SWAP AND CHAT “Best of Show”
at the NCLA Conference
Competition Entry Form
Enter your library’s best public relations materials in the “Best of Show” competition at the NCLA 2009
Conference. Judges will select winners based on content, originality, design, format and effectiveness. Awards
will be presented at the NCLA Conference on October 8, 2009 at 3:45pm. You need not be present to win.
Participants should fill out one “Best of Show” form for each category entered. You may enter only one item
per category, (see categories below) and only materials produced in 2008 and 2009. Submit four copies of each
entry and attach this form to the top copy. For the promotional video you need only submit one entry on a flash
drive. Entries must be submitted by September 1st and mailed directly to: Carol Walters
