The past 6 weeks in HDFCSLIC has been the perfect interface for
the transition from academics to professional life. The work culture and
environment at HDFCSLIC are just ideal for a novice like me. These
things will help me a lot in future, as I take my first step towards
professional life in the day to come.

Standard Life, Mr. VIBHOO SOOD Sales Office, for his encouragement,
guidance & taken interest in my project.

the training has been period of learning, not only about the project but also
high moral values, ethics and great work culture.

PREFACE
HDFCSLIC was an obvious for my project. It is one of the leading
companies in the country in private sector. It is also one of the most
important and largest companies in Insurance sector. The HDFCSLIC is
known for these professional management & style and are leaders in the
Indian private sector.

My basic idea was to known as much I can in the stipulated time


period. The project is The Market study of construction projects and
economic environment, keeping in view the sales potential for
HDFCSLIC reinforcement bars in Chandigarh.

This project is a part of our two-year degree course of Masters in


Business Administration. M.B.A. course imparts the students with virtues
& prepare them to take business world in their stride. In the final lap of
course, Summer Training Project Report prepares student to face the actual
business environment & gives them practical experience & helps them to
view the real business world closely, which in turn widely influence their
conception & perception.
