Eligibility Students sponsored by TATA STEEL employees (In Service/ESS/Retired)
Work From Home: Aiming to positively engage students during the given COVID-19 scenario, we
would like to introduce the Work from Home Unpaid Internship at Tata Steel Ltd. through projects,
which can be ideally worked from home. i.e. respective resident location as appropriate (including
from home). No in-person reporting required at SNTI/Department.
Unpaid Internship: Tata Steel does not pay any stipend. For the improvement of quality of training,

the trainees will be required to take any 2 e-learning modules mandatorily in addition to their Project,

which will be assigned by SNTI and sent in their registered mail IDs respectively. Additional e learning
modules are hosted on our website www.capabilitydevelopment.org, which the students may purchase
for Re.1. This offer may be valid only until 30th April’20.
Project: Responsibility of selecting the project guide and project lies with the trainee and the sponsor.
The trainee, as guided by project guide will do work on the project. SNTI plays no role in any the above.
The applicant should necessarily have completed / appeared in the exam of 3rd
Semester of the 3 years of Diploma or 4-year Engineering Degree Course from
Diploma/Graduate
an AICTE/UGC approved institute in the following disciplines:
Engineering
Computer/Chemical/Civil/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Metallurgy/
Minimum
Safety & Fire
Educational
BCA/BSc-IT/LLB/MCA The applicant must have passed/ appeared 1st year of BCA/MCA/BSc-IT/LLB.
Qualification
The applicant must have passed 1st year of BBA/MBA course from a recognized
institute in any of the following areas:
Management
HR-IR / Finance / Marketing / Supply Chain Management / Logistics /
Corporate Communication / Operation Management / Social Welfare.
Duration of
 Training duration will be of 4 weeks to a maximum of 8 weeks.

 Training will start from 10th April.

Project report can be submitted by the candidate to
