3.4.1 Weigh the fire extinguisher, and check the cause and replenish the
fire-extinguishant and nitrogen if the weight reduction of the extinguisher found is
10% or more of the weight marked on the placard attached to it.

3.4.2 Inspect the pressure value indicated on the fire extinguisher pressure gauge for the
compliance with the requirements of following table:

Environment -55 -45 -30 -15 O 15 30 45 60

Temperature (-67 ) (-49) (-22) (5) ( 32 ) ( 59 ) (86) (113) (140)

(oF )

Pressure Mpa 3.2 3.4 3.6 3.8 4.0 4.2 4.4 4.6 4.8
(Psi)
(455.15) (483.59) (512.04) (540.49) (568.93) (597.38) (625.83) (654.27) (682.72)

The fire extinguisher must be removed and repaired or replaced if the pressure
reduction is lower than 6% or more of the listed value in the table.

3.4.3 Check the pipeline and components of the fire-extinguisher system for wear,
scratch, deformation and blockage, check the installations for security and wire
attachments for security and wire insulations for intactness.

4 Final Procedure

4.1 Close the lower fairing of engine nacelle, and secure it tightly.
