The Indian Public School-Coimbatore Electricity and Chemistry

The document discusses the reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to form water, with a 2:1 ratio of hydrogen to oxygen molecules. It also explains that hydrogen is formed at the negative cathode and oxygen at the positive anode during the reaction. Finally, it provides tests to identify hydrogen using a lighted splint that is extinguished with a pop, and oxygen using a glowing splint that relights.
