 This proposal is about the website which is about management system that can manage all the
overall duties of person that manages the indoor football game i.e. Futsal. Nowadays, futsal
playing is emerging rapidly in Asian country. People are preferring more indoor games than the
out-door games. Basically, futsal is the indoor version of the football game. Just like mini-golf,
futsal is the smaller version of the football. Due to rapid growth of interest in futsal. Usually in
futsal, there are 5 players in each team. Size 4 ball is used which is comparatively small than the
actual ball played during football. Lots of people are facing improper management system of the
futsal. All the management that are done in the futsal are paper-based. So, bringing actual digital
interface to the people that can manage the overall work of the futsal will be a big step to the
people. This can change the overall experience of the people playing futsal. Many people can
save their time if this system is applied. The main problem that people are facing currently is that
they face is time management. Due to human-error, sometime 2 people book same exact timeslot.
This leads to improper management system. There can be clash between two people as they have
booked the same time-slot to play. In the end, one individual has to sacrifice their time and let
other to play. Another problem that people are facing is that the people have to call the futsal staff
to know the time slot that are been booked already. This can alter the fun of playing futsal if the
people have to call again and again. If this management system is developed lot of people will
have advanced experience playing football. Lots of problem will be solved. There are lots of
problem which are listed below.

2) Rationale –

Here we talk about the problems that exist in this current system and solution to be
applied. Lots of problem that exists which are worth solving are discussed here. Since,
this whole futsal management system is based on paper-based system. Lot’s of people are
facing problem regarding management system. So, there are discussed below –

a) Problems That Exist

 Paper-based management system –

The entire management system is based on paper-based system. So

that’s why this system is very slow, ineffective and inconvenient regarding
management. Nowadays, all company, shop, industries etc. are changing to digital
interface for better management system.

  Proper Time Management System/Booking System -

Since the whole futsal rely in the time booking system, time has
been clashing between to people while booking in futsal. Due to human error, staff of
the futsal may accept the booking of same time slot. lots of clashes has been carried
out. This is the main problem faced by the young players.

 Proper Info about the place-

Lots of people may be unknown to the location of the futsal. In

current system there are no any location description. Proper description of the place is
important for any new people who is willing to play the futsal. So, proper location is
one of the problems in current system.

 Viewing the Booked Schedule –

In current paper-based system user have to book the time by

calling the staff of the futsal. Sometimes, staff may not be available when the people
would call to book the futsal. In that case, people willing to play futsal will have to
visit the futsal to book according to their wish.

 Loss of data –
As the whole system is based on paper-based system, loss of data
is at high percent. Data may be lost due to human error or due to natural reasons.
Their will be no proper excuse in such case. So, this is one of the main problem in
this current system.

 Online payment –

There is no online payment system in current system which is

causing lots problem in business point of view. This should be sort out for advanced
upliftment of the system.

 b) Solution for the problems –

 Digital Interface System/Website

For the problem of old paper-based system, digital interface

systems/ website is the solution. A website will be developed to overcome all the
problem. Lots of benefits are there and all the problem will get over so that people
can get more fun futsal playing experience. Where there will be separate login for
admin (IT department), staff of the futsal and user as people using the website. Then
can book online and to do other important stuff.

 Online booking system –

For proper booking system, online booking system will be an

excellent solution. User will book online by visiting the website. This can lead to
proper booking management system. No clash will happen while booking the futsal
between two people at the same time slot.

 Proper information about the place –

This website has proper location description where user can

easily get the direction to the futsal. Giving location description leads to more people
visiting the futsal without wasting time.

 Booked schedule dashboard –

In this website, user can see the already booked time slot in
dashboard. In this way, user can view the booked time slot of the futsal and book
accordingly. This leads to advance and effective way of booking system. Whenever
user books the futsal, staff member will record the time and will keep data
accordingly.

 No loss of data –

Since this website has database management system, there will

be no chance of loss data. This leads secure holding of the data for the futsal. Good
storage of data leads to good track of the things that are going on in the futsal. So this
leads to good management system website.

  Online payment-

Online payment should be added so that user can pay online

through any means. This lifts the overall upliftment in standard of the system.

3) Main Objective and Goal -

Now we talk about the main objective and goal of this system.
The main objective of the system is changing the whole paper management system to
digital management system by making a website that can manage the duty of the futsal.
This website should be very effective and convenient to the user of the futsal. Further
aims and objective of this website are described below-

 Login system

In this website, there are three separate accounts for the site.
Admin, staff and user. So, admin has to login their own user-id and password and
staff has to enter their own user-id and password. Accordance to their account
different task can be performed.

 Online booking system –

In this website people can book the time slot of the futsal
online. This leads to proper booking system. Whenever a user books the time slot of
the futsal, staff member will get the message and will be notified to him/her. This
leads to good and effective way of booking a futsal.

 Proper information about the place –

This website gives the brief description of the futsal by

providing detail information about the place where it is located and what kind of
futsal ground it is it and so on. All the contact number are given if problem may arise.
This leads to good and effective way of giving information about the futsal.

  User-friendly interface –

Here, the website should be very user-friendly and less

complicated. This website aims to be used by every level of user so that everyone can
operate smoothly. This leads to proper use of the site and everybody can use this
website.

 Organize Tournament-

This is the extra feature of this website. User can organize the
tournament by filling the form provided in the site online. This leads to good extra
feature to the system. This will be new thing provided in this management system.

 Time slot dashboard-

Now the user can view the time slot of the futsal that are been
booked already. This prevents two users booking in same time slot. This is common
problem in every futsal which can be sort out by adding a dashboard that shows the
time slot of the futsal.

 Online Payment-

In this website, user can pay online through different means.

This is the extra feature in this website. This can promote overall enhancement of the
management system.

4) Research methodology-

Here we talk about the steps that will be carried out while
researching. First problem was collected at first and its solution are investigated. How
the system design will be carried out and which language will be used. We talk about
the testing and evaluation that will be carried out. Brief discussion is described
below-

 a) System Analysis and Design –

For system analysis and design online, mock flow will be

used. Similarly, flowchart and bon-diagram will be used for furthermore
description how the system works. Rough sketch will also be provided. Use case
diagram and class diagram will also be illustrated.

b) Problem Research Method -

For researching problems in futsal related topics. Young

youth of this country were facing lots of problem that should be carried out with a
better solution. Some of the problem research method are listed described below-

 Convenient data-

At first, I will collect all the necessary data needed to

manage the futsal. Only then I will proceed to develop this website. Accurate data is
convenient while making any management system.

 Futsal Time Schedule-

This is the main problem that needs to be investigated.

By investigating the problem in this topic area, it will be easier to develop website by
doing one on one interview with the staff of the futsal.

 Government Law –

Our government has a law that should be followed by

every citizen of the country. So, investigating on the law regarding futsal should lead
to healthy website. There are certain things to do and no to do in futsal. So, survey of
the applied law is must.

 Booking System-

Booking system is serious area to investigate as it is

one of the main problem areas that needs to be developed. There has been clash
between two people booking same time slot. So, this must be fixed.

  Online Payment-

Money transaction section is new to the website. So,

how the payment should carry out is one of the important topic to investigate. This is
area of topic should not be taken lightly.

 Staff management-

What access should be given to the staff member is

one of the problems that should be investigated. There should be certain limitation to
the member staff to access in website.

c) Software requirements engineering-

Software requirement engineering is the process of
illustrating the requirement while developing any kind of software. Things that
are needed to collect require data to develop software comes under software
requirement engineering. Water fall model is the example of the Software
requirement engineering. To carry information or to collect data, I will be
interviewing the owner of the futsal about the problem that he has faced during
his day to day life. I will prepare some bundle of questions related to my needs
while developing the website. By doing so, I will be getting and resourceful
information. Similarly, I will take a survey with the locals about the problems
they are facing. This helps me in satisfying the local people needs through my
website. Also, by searching in internet I can get lots of information regarding
management system. I will have to know the management strategy to make this
website. So, learning the journal regarding the management system will be
beneficial. The main core of this requirement engineering is to gather the data that
are required to develop any software.

d) System Language-

For this website, I will be using PHP, JavaScript,

HTML and CSS language. As I am good at this mention languages. There should
not be any problem while coding.

e) Testing –

For testing we rely on two testing i.e. black box

testing and white box testing. Black box testing and white box testing tests the
functionality of the code without emerging the internal code. It makes very easy
to understand the overall function of the system for any new user who seeks the
functioning of the whole system.

 5) Ethical/Legal Consideration-
Since this whole project is done under the
supervisor of my college tutor. No any illegal work will be done that abuses
the reputation of college and also the reputation of University of
Northampton. This proposal will first be drafted to my tutor. Then only this
proposal will be submitted to Nile. I will do my work that shall not be
against the act of Misuse Act passed in 1990. I will be under college guidance
and no any illegal activity will be done. All resources will be used only by
the approval of my teacher guidance.

6) Conclusion-
At last. I have decided to do a project that
manages the overall activity of the futsal. I have decided to develop a
website that revolutionize the whole futsal playing experience. As futsal
playing is increasing day by day among the youth of Nepalese people. Its
management system should be up to date and should be very much reliable.
The whole system rely on old paper-based system and its user are increasing
day by day. The needs some changes to maintain the service quality
accordance to rapid growth of its users. So, It needs new website that can
manage the whole work of the futsal which is explained in this proposal.
