Linking Features

Figure 1

The Linking Feature of Timson Trade allows you to link multiple windows with a single click. The
default setting of Timson Trade is “Link to All”, which means that if you change a stock symbol in one
window, the stock symbol in the other windows will also change automatically. In the example shown
above (Figure 1), if we type “SMPH” in the Single Order Entry, the Realtime Chart to its right also
changes to SMPH since the linking is set to “Link to All”. If you click a certain stock on the ticker, all
windows that are set to “Link to All” will change to the stock symbol clicked on the ticker.

You can change the linking by clicking the small rectangular color button beside the stock symbol/broker
symbol in different windows. In the example below (Figure 2), we set the Single Order Entry and the
Stock Transactions window as Link 1 (red), and the Realtime Chart and the Buyers & Sellers windows as
Link 2 (Sky Blue). With this set-up, if we type “SM” in the Single Order Entry, only the Stock
Transactions window will change to SM since it is the only window in “Link 1” aside from the Single
Order Entry. Similarly, if we type “BDO” in the Realtime Chart window, only the Buyers & Sellers
window will change to BDO since it is the only window in “Link 2” aside from the Realtime Chart
window.

Take note that the linking feature can be used across different screens (1-0) located in the upper-right
corner of your monitor.

Open another window (e.g. Stock Transactions)

Say for example you want to move the Stock Transactions window to the left of the Single Order Entry,
simply click on the top bar of the Stock Transactions window (encircled in yellow) and drag it to the
docking feature in the center of the screen (encircled in yellow). Since we want to put in to the left of the
Single Order Entry, we drop it on the left arrow of the docking feature.

Sellers window and drag it to the center of the docking feature of the Realtime Chart window.

After that, the Buyers & Sellers window will be viewed as tabs together with the Realtime Chart window.
