Re- scrutiny of results
Instructions to fill the application via online

In re-scrutiny, the relevant answer scripts are fully examined by several members of the
Re-scrutiny Board. It is hereby emphasized that an upward or a downward revision of marks or Grade
is possible as a result of re-scrutiny.

01. Applications are calling only via online for re-scrutiny of results of the above
examination.
02. Closing date of applications is 25th of October 2021.
03. Use one of the following methods to apply re-scrutiny of results.
 Log into the official website of the Department of Examinations https://doenets.lk and click on
to “School Examinations” which is under “Our Services”.
 Log into DoE , official mobile app of the Department and click on to online applications
(School Examinations).
 Log into https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic

04. It should be considered to use the same Index number and the National Identity card number, which
you have used when you sat for the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination – 2020.

05. Before completing the application, reading technical instruction sheet and watching the explanatory
video on filling the application, is necessary in fill the application accurately.

06. The fee for the re-scrutiny per subject is Rs. 200/=. This amount can be paid by a credit/debit card
or to a post office.

07. PDF format of the application can be downloaded after the payment and it should be kept with you.
Also, you will be received a SMS to your mobile phone after paying the relevant amount.

08. It is the responsibility of the candidate to enter all the subjects wish to apply accurately. The
applications without the relevant amount will be rejected without further notice.
09. The amount paid for the application will not be refunded.

P.S -  Due to the present Covid pandemic situation in the country, the recommendation / signature
of the principal is not necessary for the applications of school candidates.
 This re- scrutiny is relevant only for the subjects which the results have been issued by now.
